Are Muslims and Buddhists the same?

Buddhism is a religion and philosophy based on the teachings of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, who lived in ancient India. Buddhists follow the Four Noble Truths, which state that suffering is an inherent part of life, that suffering arises from craving and attachment, that suffering can be overcome, and that the end of suffering is the Eightfold Path. The Eightfold Path consists of the right understanding, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration.

While Islam and Buddhism have similarities in that they emphasize the importance of compassion, non-violence, and spiritual development, they have many differences in their beliefs and practices.
