Common dishes include plov (pilaf), dolma (stuffed grape leaves), and dolma (stuffed vegetables), as well as kebabs and baklava (a sweet pastry made with phyllo dough, honey, and nuts).

Finally, Azerbaijan is an Islamic country, and religion plays an important role in the population’s daily life. Islamic customs and traditions are widely practiced, and many mosques throughout the country exist. The country’s people are conservative and traditional in their beliefs and customs, which can be observed in their clothing, lifestyle, and relationships.
